1. Positioning
EpiMax 333AR High Build Acid Resistant Coating is an exceptional two-pack solventless, novolac based coating system suitable for a variety of applications including acid-proofing of tanks, secondary containment structures and wastewater asset protection.
2. Key Uses
• Wastewater infrastructure
• Secondary containment bunds
• Chemical processing areas
• Effluent channels and pits
• Industrial floors subject to chemical exposure
Typically applied as a multi-coat lining system to achieve required DFT and durability.
Used where conventional epoxy systems are insufficient.
3. Typical Substrates
• Concrete
• Steel
4. Typical Thickness Range
• Nominal system DFT: 600–1000 μm
• Minimum DFT: project-specific (commonly ≥650 μm)
5. Key Properties
• Novolac epoxy chemistry → high chemical resistance
• High cross-link density → low permeability
• Excellent adhesion to prepared concrete and steel
• Solvent-free system → high film build capability
• Suitable for immersion service
6. Where It Fits (System Context)
